Over 100 bird species can be found in the Crystal Springs Creek watershed. This list is intended as a first crack at cataloging them all. Most species listed have been seen by members of the Crystal Springs Partnership, but a few are “hypotheticals”. By the same token, we may well have missed some important species. It would be a big help if Crystal Springs residents and visitors could partner with us in firming up the list.
If you have seen species in our watershed (see map) that are not on the list, please let us know. Just go to our leave us a comment, or e-mail us at [email protected] (we also welcome your skepticism about some of the hypothetical species that are on the list!)
Once we get a solid list in place, we hope to be able to add information on seasonality and abundance.
